1. FC Dallas
Other than a loss with no goalkeeper, they've been very solid. They gave up 4 goals against DCU, and since, only 2 goals. Their defense is in sync, and their offense has been top-notch. Everyone slept on this team, but now people are realizing they ARE the real deal.
2. Toronto FC
One of 2 teams not to lose yet this season, Toronto brings a solid defense with a good enough offense to support Dead and Yoyo in the back. However, they will need somebody else besides Scar to score, and it should be Gavadi, but he is out of form at the moment.
3. Vancouver
Other than a bad loss to Toronto this week, they've actually been very good. However, Toronto exploited their poor tactical decisions in defense, and that could cause problems for the Whitecaps in the future.
4. DC United
This team has chemistry which has helped them to place 2nd in the East right now. They do need to find out who their starting GK is, either Dubya or Chriz. If Chriz is in net, that opens the lane for Dubya to contribute in the attacking game.
5. San Jose
Death is one of the best strikers RMLS has to offer, but XG has to figure out what kind of player he is, and Nuke has to be great for SJ to have a chance at getting into the playoffs.
6. New York
Nobody knows what kind of team they are. It seems like a "just go out and play" type of team, but Jimbo has had a great year for the Red Bulls, but Bung has to be consistent, and Cheesey has to figure out what kind of player he is quickly.
7. Chicago
We've seen development from the Fire, but Rugs has shown he doesn't have any other game than to just score goals. That isn't a problem, but Chicago needs a legitimate midfielder to supply Rugs, because Sir isn't cutting it. TG has defense locked down, but the GK is a question.
8. Seattle
Bommer leads this team, but Jon is very inconsistent as a striker, and he needs to get into form for them to have ANY chance at postseason. |
