Too many games that now give like 1,000,000 player points a second |

Roblox is removing player points altogether. The leader board is gone and now you can no longer see player point amounts on your profile. Honestly I think they are removing them because people used them to make money for themselves by saying buy player points or x10 player points. Also some people got kinda greedy :P |

they didnt remove pp it only shows pp on the leaderboard not on your profile

Your information is flawed. They're not removing player points, just limiting their reach.

Game developers can now give out an unlimited amount of player points because ROBLOX has eliminated the 'global' aspect of it, which they've achieve by removing the point total on player profiles and by removing the global leaderboard.
So, even if a game is giving out ten million points a second, it has no effect on the other games as the leaderboard will only show the points that you made in _THAT_ game. |

No Support for Two Reasons:
1. There's no more leaderboard for the entire Roblox,therefore your point is invalid. Sure, they'll get millions of points in THAT game ONLY, but who cares?!
2. Although I hated Player Points to start with, I feel that this is a step up into something that makes sense.

Player Points are now Game-Specific meaning that the Player Points that are gained are only shown on that game specifically.
If that game designer wants to have millions of Player Points for their few players, so be it. |

I feel player points should just be scrapped.
ROBLOX realised the global system was being abused. Instead of getting rid of them they decided to make them game-specific and unlimited.
This just makes them absolutely pointless. You can implement your own score system and global leaderboard without player points, this was just ROBLOX being unwilling to accept they were a bad move.
Please, if something is unhelpful, don't just change it to become useless. Just axe it. |

I think the current player point system is good, because you can now see your overall ranking in a certain game. Your time playing a particular game pays off by giving you a ranking in the overall world. This is much better than Global Leaderboards especially because every game didn't give an even amount of points. This way, people can do contests for their specific game, or award the top players a prize, etc.
