Everytime I try to union two parts (Yes, I negated the part I wanted) it keeps saying "Union Unsolvable 7 This union is not currently solvable. Try offsetting the parts from each other or try unioning each part individually." And I had it working okay for a few minutes. |

roblox studio is a bit glitchy in places full of bricks, and the unions too. in a empty place all the unions are solvable, but in places with bricks not always. i don't know why this happens, but if they are many unions, try in a brand new or an empty place. |

Unions s*ck. I union ANYTHING, and it comes up with "2512 triangles exceed the 2500 triangle limit". Yet, all I am unioning is 2 bricks. |

Today i went to copy an old union from my game and i couldnt even seperate it... so yeah, sometimes works, sometimes doesnt..

I have noticed that when I have been trying to use unions, they keep on getting unsolvable, it wasn't until I changed every value of each part I am combining, including size and position, to be rounded off to the nearest one hundredth decimal, that it started working. For example, if one part is unsolvable, it could be that one position is something like 35.358, you'd have to round it to 35.36 for it to work, in other words, if theres some parts that are unsolvable, round it off to the next decimal... The union system doesn't appear to be absolutely precise yet, but if you really want precision, i'd suggest to scale it real huge before putting it together as a union so you can have a good detailed union...

The number of unnecessary issues I've encountered while building with unions will cause me to quit building entirely. Either I've wasted hours of my time trying to make these unions work, or I stop working on projects entirely. And I don't build complex buildings. |
