What happened to the creativity, I have listed my reasons on previous threads. Think about it when you have a successful franchize with a team, someone will come in to just take it and hurt it's reputation, basically KILLING things that the owner has tried to accomplish. Must I also say there is a rule, where the city must be approved by the team owner who once owned that city? As a staff member, I am against this, and for the sake of what RHL still holds as "tradition". I understand teams have been re-naming for long, but not anymore. The RHL has grown up and found several great owners who are willing to stick in for next season such as, PokaKola, tinyberry, Deathrange07, Reign ownership, habs100, me, sombervila123, BMLGUY *suprisingly*, wistfulspongebobbeast, CheeseyMacral, and even vikingsfan who has almost upset teams with the roster he has. Copy your name below to approve this. Signed (6/75) - RektItKev - RektItJon - RektItCola - bookface6 - Snarkyxx - RektItCal - RektItCool? - - - - - - - - - - - - REKT-IT

Here's the reason I have decided to jump to permanent names: For the past few seasons, the amount of serious names dwindled to semi-serious names, such as Kentucky Fried Chicken. While I probably should not have accepted that, it was my fault, the league has gotten worse and worse with names. So much so that we have had less and less teams who have legitimate names participate in the registration process. It leaves me to just a few teams to choose from rather than multiple, because many people are attempting to make teams that are completely inappropriate and totally immature. Therefore, I took the time to organize a list with the staff and create a permanent team name list, which will prevent people from making horrible names and we won't have teams such as the "Fart Sniffers LOLXD" put into the league, or taking up my inbox asking for a team when we are desperate for registrations. Sure, some people may not want to own a team because of a name, but if you want a specific name, win the tournament before the season starts, and you get first choice of what team you want. Hash...if you failed to read the last part of the subject, it did say *Rough Draft* That means people can suggest some changes, especially staff, and they might take place for the actual season. We already have plans to change Philadelphia, Toronto, and possibly Los Angeles' team names. You just have to be patient and voice your opinion. "Heroes get remembered, but legends never die."

this is my opinion, the idea of permanent names takes out the privileges of having a successful franchise and giving it up to an idiot who kills it's reputation. REKT-IT

Not to mention, you posted a petition. I already told everyone that I don't listen to petitions anymore. If you have a problem with something, message me privately and we can talk it out that way, especially with you being a staff member. Causing a public uproar is probably not the best way to tackle this. "Heroes get remembered, but legends never die."

"so far the co-commissioner agrees with you as well" ??? i strongly disagree with the permanent names. the argument of "immature team names" is stupid because all bens has to do is deny the team name... Silent was there. Poka was there. And, again, as I have already said, it's a rough draft. If you don't like the names, all you have to do is suggest a change. I just thought we should get some names out now because CHP needed them for the stats GUI. "Heroes get remembered, but legends never die."

I don't follow RHL at all, but this isn't a good idea, really. In a perfect world, this is almost every commissioner's dream but for players it gets boring and repetitive after a season or two and people start losing interest. I sign.

"i strongly disagree with the permanent names. the argument of "immature team names" is stupid because all bens has to do is deny the team name..." But this is where the problem arises. It may be simple to say "just deny them", but the past two seasons, we've scrounged for owners to fill positions due to the massive amount of troll requests and the slim amount of actual requests. In the end, we eventually grab the quickest owner we can find, and they end up forfeiting 3/4 of the season. "Heroes get remembered, but legends never die."
