how about a triangle brick?,dont say mesh,a mesh dont fit exactly how it's needed to ft in a certain area, such as makeing a tank, they wont fit right with a triangle mesh on a square brick

Yes, a wedge formfactor would be good.

Mesh and I believe CFrame can have the same affect. >=Darth

mesh dont make it fit right,a rotatn of any kind for somerason anchores any bricks on my cmp unless it's the average x and y axis rotate, andything else anchores it,what gods an anchored tank?

#15617997Monday, October 19, 2009 9:24 PM GMT

you can un-anchor it >_> >=Darth

Scripting error probobly. Try a diffrent tri-angle, that one seems glitched. >=Darth

i didnt script it, i had it on a chassis from the "cars" section, and i hadnt goton to the cannon yet,all but the turret was done and i un-anchored h tank then BOOM!

It's not snapped correctly. You might want to run a weld script on it. And I definitely support a triangle form factror. Meshing only makes it LOOK like it's a triangle.

thats what im trying to get at,you cant walk up a mesh unless it's like a mini mesh,a triangle that could be walked up would be better for many things, includeing mountains, house roofs, steps(such as a wheel chair ramp, etc.)

Exactly. This is possible using multiple bricks, but yea, a formfactor would be much better.

right i fink they should add an angle tool (cframe editor) or a cframe property in the propties of a part(on u could edit with no command) that would be cool and offet for triangle mesh would be gud and how bout a shape triangle (like a we have a ball and cylinder now)

#15646992Tuesday, October 20, 2009 6:43 PM GMT

YES YES YES, we NEEED wedges that you can walk up
blocboi
#15647068Tuesday, October 20, 2009 6:47 PM GMT

and if you use the angle tool, you will have to put the rest of the brick into a corner, but what a bout a house? you cant just have a wedge jetting down from the ceiling, formafactor wedges are EPIC

jacobmcnew
#15648323Tuesday, October 20, 2009 7:42 PM GMT

and kinglego, thats what this "debate" is over,a wedge brick that aint a mesh, but a walk-up-able brick
Darthbob48
#15648689Tuesday, October 20, 2009 7:54 PM GMT

Jacob, i believe being able to walk up the mesh as if it were a actual triangle is indeed scriptable and has been done. >=Darth

#15648757Tuesday, October 20, 2009 7:56 PM GMT

yes,but not EVERYONE can script, and i dont trust scripts unless i absolutly have to in order to get something to work
Darthbob48
#15648814Tuesday, October 20, 2009 7:58 PM GMT

I preferonly scripts fro well known scripters. That keeps my places safe from"ROFL" and other viruses. If you can't script check out the scripting helpers forum or ask a friend. >=Darth
