NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:
-T. Hannenen, a free agent signing by the Icehawks, scored 2 goals on 2 shots and earned a promotion to the first line.
-F. Raymond, another free agent signing, had only an assist which sent him down to L2 (which is better for him IMO anyways).
-Palonen went 35/38, marking just the fifth time in his career where he's conceded 3 or more goals in a start that did not go to overtime.
-Icehawks prospect Hamilton did not do much on his debut, getting a 5.2 rating with a -1. He did, however, have 22:11 TOI thanks to the 7 penalty kills.
