it's not working out. not even glendale want them. seattle, quebec or even a second toronto team would all be better options (there are a lot more places that would be better than arizona). hockey is just not a receptive sport in that area besides for the 10 people who actually turn up for games. i don't like teams being killed off, but in this case, it just makes more sense to do it than to leave them in the nhl.

I'll give them five more years at most. Arizona does have a Division 1 NCAA team now, as well as next year's #2 draft prospect, but I highly doubt it's going to be a success. This sudden little growth, as well as the fact that the Coyotes could possibly get 200 million dollars (to last them five years before going bankrupt again) is the only reason to still keep the team. There is absolutely no way for the Coyotes to avoid losing massive amounts of money every year, unless they upped their ticket prices to Winnipeg levels, which would literally be considered extortion in Arizona.
