Rules for Lag Switching/Defensive lagging:
- If a player looks like he will be scoring a touchdown and is "magically" brought down by a player that is extremely far away (5+ yards), it will be ruled as a touchdown
(As seen in Chicago vs. New Orleans, Spydeman340 returning a kick and Herman either lag or lag switched brought him down from 15 yards away but was ruled a TD).
- If a player freezes for a couple of seconds and teleports to a ball to intercept it, it will not be a legit interception. As seen 3 seasons ago (Chopazz lag inting a ball 10 seconds after the play was over vs. Toronto Wildcats and it was ruled incomlete). That being said if the QB lags and the ball freezes causing it to int, it is a legit pick. Also if the ball freezes from place/entry lag, it is a legit int.
- If an offensive player is running a route and freezes for 4+ seconds and then teleports down the field, causing the defensive player to guard where he was last standing, the WR is ineligible.
- THIS RULE IS NOT TO TAKE AWAY PLAYS FROM PEOPLE MILDLY LAGGING, IF A PLAYER IS LAGGING MILDLY AND INTS/TD, etc. the play will be LEGIT. -
- THIS IS FOR THE MASSIVE LAGGERS WHO TELEPORT EVERYWHERE, LAG SWITCH OR JUST END UP GETTING THE BALL FROM 15 YARDS AWAY -
Constant Offenders:
- If a player violates one of the following from above, he will be given a warning.
- If a player violates it again, he will receive his final warning and on the third offense he will be removed from the game. "
