Now as all of you must know there bloxy awards are coming. I might be joining the train late but I guess you all suspect its a 'popularity' contest... Which means the video quality of the entrants doesn't matter at all just about how many people vote on it... So what if someone makes a 'bad' video but because they have a large fan base win outright? Or the opposite situation... So this is what I suggest: Instead of a popularity contest why not make it based on votes and the judgement of roblox admins... spilt it 50/50 with half the votes from people and half the votes from admins. Like there are 3 admins and each of their vote accounts for 16.7% and the percentage of the votes from the users would be spilt like this.. if someone gets 100% the get 50% from the votes and should only require one admin to vote on them... if they got 50% then 25% and two admins voting to win and so on with the large amount of 'combinations' there are... I suppose there are problems with this system as the admins probably don't have enough time on their hands to really look at lots of you tube videos. I hope that a system like this could be implemented in the next bloxy awards to inspire people to make 'truly' interesting videos to impress not only the robloxians watching them but also the admins voting on 'it.' It will also make the admins/staff or roblox look like a 'part' of the community instead of working in the background. TL;DR Just change the system so its no longer a popularity contest...

The first reply is why I don't post much on the forum... The 2rd one is a fair argument but it still doesn't answer the problem of it just being a popularity contest rather than a 'quality' contest... I only used videos as an example... Who says this method cannot be applied to fan art or whatever is in the contest. Also that was very pretentious to judge my 'art' skill before even 'seeing' it. Its also quite insulting.
