I tend to avoid "radical" movements because they tend to require you to see the world in a black-and-white manner, as opposed to the nuanced grey sea that it actually is.

1) Radfems aren't against rights for trans people. They want medical ther@pists to stop prescribing medications to so many people so very easily. Especially hormone blockers towards children (drugs that haven't been thoroughly tested yet). Some of the radical feminists I follow are actually transmen.
2) Many radfems agree with 5exual liberation and support it.
3) Radfems are against pron for so VERY many reasons. Mostly because it's an industry that exploits and abuses women. Seriously, look up some ex-testimonies about it. There are also Netflix documentaries that accurately explain the HORROR of the industry (i.e. "Hot Girls Wanted").
4) They're not against rights for women. They're against the 'johns' and the 'pimps'. Look up the Nordic model for reference on what radical feminists advocated. |

First of all, banning pron won't make it go away. It will push it underground and make the exploitation that you're afraid of increase TENFOLD. When you ban it, THAT'S when the real abuse happens. You're the VERY ENEMY of what you're trying to PREVENT.

Pron already encourages human trafficking. It is NOT good.
If we decrease the DEMAND for it, then we will accomplish far more.
Women in the industry ALREADY are being abused. There are so many testimonies from women AND men explaining this. Many women even have to take drugs and alcohol just to cope with the abuse so prevalent.
There are women who NEED the money, so if they go to a set and are asked to do something they don't want to, they have to do it anyways because they'll be kicked off and black listed if they don't. |

THERE IS NO CONNECTION BETWEEN PRON AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING. There's as much evidence for the connection as there is a connection between vaccines and autism.
The industry isn't some shady, mafia-esque organization. It's a multi-BILLION dollar industry that's way out there. The participants have Twitters, the companies are publicly traded on the stock market. It's not glamourous, but it's legitimate.
Most pron just comes form a bunch of grey-suited execs saying "Hey, let's pay some people to do stuff on camera!" or one or more people saying "Hey, let's do some stuff on camera and put it on the internet for other people to see!"
And sure, maybe drug and alcohol abuse is prevalent in the industry, but you know where else it is? IN PRETTY MUCH EVERY SINGLE OTHER ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY. There are numerous examples of rock and pop stars, actors and actresses, and various others succumbing to the vices of abuse. Why? Because entertainment is a stressful business. Does that mean all these industries should be banned? Of course not.

To be honest, I'd keep going but I'm already 99% certain I'm going to get at least a one day ban, if not all the way up to a 7 day ban. If I were to keep going, I'd have to filter about 50% of my post and probably get a 2 week ban or a termination even.
