This is, of course, disregarding the abuse of "government assistance" occurring.

It was merely a statistical observation, and he did not say that *all* African Americans fell victim into using illicit drugs. That is just like saying that a majority of African Americans all own a house, for example. If that would be considered racist, I do not know what would not be considered racist if it specifies a race in a statistical observation. It seems like too many people are confusing statistical observations with prejudice against a race nowadays.
...but if you think that's racist that's fine by me, and hell if you think I'm racist go ahead call me out on it. |
