"Sir how much are you paying per year for ### ## FAFSA info hasn't come out yet but it doesn't matter for me lol I'm going to UT I'm getting one of ### most expensive & newest dorms on campus with a bathroom in ## room that I share with a roommate (already got that going) too

The dorm I'm going to live at is roughly $13,400 a school year, tuition is expected to be around $5,600 give or take, and then factor in extra costs and I'm looking at probably in the $20-21 range before any scholarships/grants and work-study eligibility

Actually there probably won't be any "extra costs" since meal money is included in ### housing price and as a student, you get to ride the city bus for free, and I can literally take the city bus 3 blocks from ## dorm and it will drop me off 10 blocks from ## house north of Austin

UC total cost per year (factoring in tuition, cost, books, EVERYTHING) will be about 37k a year FAFSA will get us anywhere from 3-12k off, hoping to get below 30k

Honestly UT will probably end up costing anywhere between $15,000 and $19,000 per year for me according to my estimate and that's okay

I have a real quandary on ## hands Go to Worcester state for less than 10k, but as a commuter and possibly without football. If I so play it would be ## Go to uri or umaine for somewhere in ### high #### and try to be a walk on. Walk on life may be difficult and there's no guarantee of a scholarship University of Massachusetts would be ### saving grace IF I get accepted which is a major if. Fbs program with a GREAT education and affordable in all likelihood

Oh yeah I forgot one "extra cost" I'm buying ### "Big Ticket" for $175. $175 for admission to every Longhorn home sporting event for every sport, football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, softball, etc.

That's actually a tremendous deal... I better get some local scholarships too. Any idea when they're typically awarded?

Scholarships are pretty tricky, you have to check with your local school districts and various scholarship # # # # # # # # online I just haven't really had the energy to sit down and fill out scholarship applications/essays After the college application process, applying to 8 schools and writing like 6 essays total for those schools (I recycled bits here and there to send out), and after getting into my dream school, I've just kinda been lazy and haven't done any scholarship stuff even though I should

Yeah you should probably get on that I'm lucky enough to get February vacation, a point in time where I have plenty of opportunity to fill out scholarship applications.

i probably wont be attending college in fall i received kutztowns financial aid package expecting it to be half decent i got 10k in federal and state aid 5k in government loans so i was hoping kutztown would cover most of the remaining cost (5k) based on financial need because im low income and a first generation student and my mom wont co-sign on private loans unless i get accepted into wilson college and they give the best financial aid package of all time but that remains to be seen so i get to get a really bad job for 2 years so i can just barely afford the cheapest school i got into awesome

#210280709Tuesday, February 21, 2017 6:16 AM GMT

im on the fence about it id only be working part time if i went to CC and i dont think id make enough to pay for the final 2 years expenses out right then which id want to do plus there arent any social things which i dont like id rather just work for the 2 years and pay for it all out right when im done working and still get the full college experience for 4 years
