"What year did you guys enroll in community college courses. Is it worth it and is there a fee?" I did it the summer after sophomore year and the summer after junior year. It's worth it if you have time (it's an accelerated college course, so it'll basically be 3x as fast as a regular college class, with a few things taken out not make it too hard). The fee depends on the college/class. It shows that you strive to be academic even when school's not in session so that'll give you a boost over others. Try to find an old copy of the syllabus before enrolling in a class because it might be more than what you were expecting. Try to choose something that you are genuinely interested in, and that you aren't just taking the class to look good for colleges. Hope that helped.

I am now making an account on applytexas.org I would appreciate it if a Texan who has already done this like Rune tells me what to do (I understand the actual application doesn't take long because I already applied somewhere before but like the other stuff besides the actual app like essays, etc)

"What year did you guys enroll in community college courses. Is it worth it and is there a fee?" at my school GPA is ultra-competitive so these aren't really good anecdotes but my first class starts august 22 (beginning of junior year), but most people started taking mid-sophomore year at my school it is necessary if you want to be in top 10 GPA (out of ~60); at the end of freshman year i was 3rd in my class with a 4.500; at the end of sophomore year i fell to 9th with a 4.555 our district pays for/waives fees so classes and textbooks are free

Austin Community College literally has no effect on high school GPA/class rank lmfao The way it works over here is, "You get a C? You get the high school credit and college credit. Lower than a C? F**k off!"
