roblox wouldn't remove adservice because they're greedy.
adservice makes them alot of money.

They already DID. The purpose of this thread is to explain why its return is necessary.

It requires scripting to make a player view an advertisement in-game.

It displays an ad in ROBLOX itself and the user must be on a mobile device to see one. AdBlock is a chrome extension, so no.
That being said, I've listed a lot of conditions that all must be met for AdService to show an advertisement. |

Just to clarify, you cannot use the AdService at the moment.
It required scripting but ROBLOX disabled the feature. |

Bump 4 I've been relying on the AdService also.. now there is no way to profit from roblox without anyone buying your gamepass(es).

Several weeks ago it was stated on the developer forum how the AdService has been changed. The developer forum post never mentioned how it was off before the update, was off during the update, or why it's still off after the update.
For what reason have they continued to keep it off if they've been done updating it for so long?
I had thought I simply need to wait for them to bring it back and then wait another three days for revenue to come back only to find that all this time it has not returned.

I'm thinking about what they're saying and realizing it doesn't add up with what is actually being done.
I've read the blog post about tickets removal many times and had been disappointed by statements such as "anything we award with currency will ultimately be botted" making it clear that they're not going to do anything to compensate for removal of tickets but they were entirely silent about removing Mobile Ad Revenue assuming that most people would not even know it was there to begin with.

Thanks a lot Roblox :( Now a days on games like these the only alternative is to pay money, I know they need it to keep their company going but builders club is way to pricey! |

Lord, thank you for saying this. My friend's developing his game, and the removal of tix has had a very negative impact. We're not gonna make it p2w, so we don't really have a source of income. Something like what you suggested would be nice. Heck, anything would at this point. |

I'd agree. I'm a small group owner as well, and logical designer (via plausible machinery concepts), and this, with no way to earn income openly and my inability to script, It's impossible to make ANY money off of this in an honest way; If I were EVEN DISCOVERED in the first place! roblox wasn't very honest with this new update, as well as even if I DID learn to script, I'd have a solid 15 robux a day, which is not near enough to sustain a large place, due to he fact I'd need to hire scriptwriters to create a better purpose to the thing. to make more money, I'd need major salesmen as close friends, of which, would take long times to build a steady relation with. *bump* |
