No one has over 200 friends that they talk too. If you like the person, follow them. You don't need to be their friend since you will most likely never talk in a few days/weeks anyway. |

You have 184 friends. If you're true, then you can name all of their usernames, + personality and how you're their friend without checking your friends list or asking them. |

The average person only has around 2-4 people they stay in close contact with. You're saying you need to keep in close contact with 100 times more people? Please name every single person and what their significance to your social life is. |

Why does it matter...? We have the follow option for a reason, and it is not like you will even be talking to even 200+ of the people in your friends list.

The human mind can only handle up to 150 meaningful relationships. Everything else would simply be a follower. In fact, a limit of 200 is being generous.

Use Followers. They're just as useful as Friends imo.
Friends take up your feed space and become harder to filter if you have too many.
It may be uncomfortable to delete friends once your list gets full, but hey, losing and making new friends is a part of life.

you will never need more than 200 friends tbh, but it may be slightly useful if the limit was raised to 250 just for the extra people idk |
