Some people have monitors that are over 60 Hz and 60 FPS can feel just unsmooth to those users. So I am asking to up the FPS cap to 144 FPS so it can be a smoother experience for those who have 120 and 144 Hz monitors.

Don't mention the "the human eye can only see that many fps" because it is simply not true. The human eye is not a camera! It doesn't work with frames per second! Or why do you think 144 Hz monitors exist? It WILL feel smoother for people with high refreshrate monitors.

They should, I only have a 60 Hz monitor but my computer is well capably of reaching 3 times that FPS. They should be giving users the advantage to get to control more of the graphics options in Roblox considering some of us have highly capable computers

Impossible with the current physics system. low framerate = slow physics 144 fps/Hz = phsyics flying everywhere and physics would need to work local which leads to people standing on nothing for other people etc. etc.

@JDtheResistance The "not everyone has a high-end computer" is dumb too. Roblox supports VR. I'm pretty sure not everyone has a VR headset. Speaking of VR and framerate, does Roblox run at 60 FPS in VR too? Because VR developers recommend a minimum of 90 FPS for VR. @digitalMaster34 And there have been tests that prove otherwise too.

"whats with Hz anyway??" hz is short for hertz, which refers to the refresh rate of a monitor the amount of fps that is rendered is limited to the refresh rate of your monitor so if you have a 60hz monitor, you can see up to 60 fps, and with a 144hz monitor, you can see up to 144hz "people could also use that to their advantage against people with slower PCs and stuff" thats the stupidest thing ive heard all day
