I'm still wondering how is it that I get this much hate for captaining 1 season and going to 11th seed. Meanwhile there are captains who captained a load of time and have yet to make playoffs.

Tbh this rule should only be enforced when it's a new captain, if it's an old captain that you have had and you didn't like them at all then u shouldn't have to play for them but if it's a captain that never coached before then the rule should apply. I mean if Alava was your captain for 1 season, you would probably never ever want to go back to his team. Whereas if SuperiorXi this season is a new coach and drafted random people, they play for him and his team is doing well.

I'm sure if the rule Is enforced we'll have a league reset.

I capped 2 seasons in PGHL. Both my teams were sub par but no one hated playing for me I didn't have to force people to play. And whoever requested to be traded got traded or I let them go to F/A at the trade deadline. This rule really wouldn't work because you can't force someone to really play for you.

you guys don't get the point of this you're making it sound like slavery. the point is that every time someone gets drafted to a team they weren't expecting they complain, cry and refuse to play. that's not what the league is suppose to be like. as i said before people need to learn DISCIPLINE.

you cant discipline people on an online game, theyll just leave and rejoin at a later season or as an alt

It's kind of hard to draft somebody and then ask if you want them to play for you. Bit of a waste of a draft pick. All ro hockey teams (not just HHCL) have this. Imo this happens the most in the RNHL. We are not "trash" captains. We are just not doing as good as other teams. I traded two people who would not play for Arizona because we aren't in the playoffs.

@Aura same. Plus I've also seen a trend that teams that don't make it to the playoffs are "bad teams". That is not true. We just arent as fortunate to have the same roster they've had every single season for like the past seven seasons (looks at minnesota's roster). No offense to Minnesota and Anaheim but you guys have literally had the same roster for seasons.

basically this is how stacked teams are formed. someone drafts a player that did decent in previous seasons and then they refuse to play until they are traded to a specific team. my advice to those captains is to not trade them because they dont deserve to play for their desired team if they wont even play for the team they were fairly drafted to. torture them into submission, dont give in to their demands

And how does that help the case for the captains.

That's actually what killed HHCL Arizona.

Silent it's hard when there are only 3 people willing to play for the team and combine that one has a life and the other has minors please do explain how not trading them would help. But then they get traded, and those players act like they are on a trash team. It's really funny because if two of them also showed we would win games but tak. hhclers are the snobbiest ro-sports players.

this doesn't happen in the rnhl much anymore, I mean when team jumping was alive, that was just cuz the players wanted to play more or with better people. when there's 32 teams in a league, how does a player expect to be picked on the team he wants unless they have a first pick or something...
