Hello! Here I will post a proposal to you guys and see what you guys think of this being the future way the OFL is ran. For the past 10 seasons, OFL has been ran with one key man in charge who pretty much does everything, the Commissioner. The Commissioner has to deal with many jobs so a lot of times he does jobs half assed in order to speed up the process and not spend so much time doing tedious work. In the future, I see an idea where the league has no Commissioner, but a CEO who oversees the following positions. (That would be applied for and handed out to one or two people) Director of Scheduling: (Director of Reschedules): Director of Development (building, scripting): Assistant(s): Director of Illegal Leavings: Director of OCFA/OFL/OFDL affairs (Makes sure no one is bypassing, or cheating system, make sure leagues are running correctly): Director of Development League (Commissioner of OFDL): Director of Officiating (Already have): Director of Media Network (Already have): Director of Department of Regulation and Enforcement: (ARFCinator) Assistant(s): Director of Rules (deals with adding rules to rulebook, masters rules, etc.): Director of Executive Board (already have): ====== There could be many more positions, but I see this as an idea to replace Commissioner and have the CEO (me) oversee each position to make sure they're doing their job properly. What do you guys think. Would you rather this or a Commissioner?

This seems like quite a lot. I'm not sure how this compares to the current setup, but I think you should stick with what you have now, especially since you were making other posts about changing the structure of the OFL, the OFLDL, and the NCAA football league associated with it. It seems that you're making a lot of drastic changes in just one offseason. Of course, this comment is coming from a neutral perspective who has very little idea what actually goes in OFL. Just warning you not to overdo it.

@Jimbo this is for the future of the league. OFDL isn't going into place until S12 when there is enough players for the system.

Much better than tasking one man to do all of those jobs. Great idea, Roger.

In that case, since you have time to make a full plan, this seems more intuitive. Spread out the work and have a CEO who's sole job is to hire/fire the people in these positions. Spreads out the work so that no position is too stressful and the CEO regulates any questionable decisions made by his subordinates.

I like the idea of delegating the jobs. It would make the league run much smoother

tbh there will be an inactive director, for example, if there's an inactive director of scheduling, we'd be screwed because we wouldn't know when games are. instead of this, find yourself a backup commisioner to act while you're gone. just my advice

People would apply for the jobs and I'd oversee the positions, firing inactives. Director of scheduling just has to make a schedule, so that isn't that bad, lol.
