Rock is actually pretty good, The Beatles are rock, Evis is rock, and there's Billy Talent, and the Red hot Chilis. Rock has different sub genres, not all of it's metal. Also, just because you don't like something, doesn't mean it's awful. I don't like Hip-Hop, but that is just my personal taste, and in no way am I against Hip-Hop. Also, there are christian metal groups (I know). |

Dearly thread maker, I must advise you, not all rock is metal, there are The Beatles, The Red Hot Chilis, Elvis, Elton John, and Billy Talent, and many more, all of which don't scream into microphones, have meaningful lyric, and are still rock. Also, just because you don't like listening to metal, doesn't mean you have to disrespect it and hate it. I personally don't enjoy listening to hip-hop, but that's just me and my taste, and I still have respect for the artist. Music is about expressing one's self, so it isn't finite.
