"is it true colleges only care about unweighted GPA if so thats unfair AF my classes are hard and when my gpa has to be unweighted like people in easy classes thats NOT FAIR"
Out of state and private schools only care about unweighted GPA, and your class rank has to be number ### out of ###. In-state public schools care about all three - unweighted/weighted GPA and class rank.
Also my high school makes me feel like such a massive failure for getting a 3.5 GPA and a 1350 (out of 1600) on the SAT |

Also you better get REALLY good grades starting freshman year if you want to get into the UC schools, UT Austin, and Rice |

It literally depends solely on the college
I applied for only UCs and they have their own "UC GPA" calculation rather than just looking at your standard weighted/unweighted GPAs |

also @skinny
"University of Arizona"
good school that's easy to get into. no essay at all. just do your normal volunteering/extracurriculars and get good grades and they'll mail you like 2 weeks after you apply saying you got in |
