Stupid decision to take him off for Ricketts, as he would have been useful in the penalties. His reaction after coming off says it all. You NEVER bench your franchise player in the cup final. Honestly this has been a good year for TFC but we screwed it up when it mattered the most. Also Frei decided to play out of his skin for today, well done Seattle. Also nice seeing 2,000 away fans travel all the way to this city. thats commitment

Agreed. Toronto FC will most definitely want to keep Giovinco but I doubt that he will want to stay anyway. Imagine if you come to a struggling club, then you carry your team to the playoffs for the first time in the club's history and win season MVP. After that, next season you were the team's best player making it into the MLS Cup then you get substituted in the final with 20 minutes left after all of that hard work you put into the club. Giovinco knows that if he was there, Toronto FC would have won which is why he is very upset.

Vanney or Giovinco are gonna leave TBH.

Did neither of you watch the game? He clearly wanted to be subbed off, his injury prevented him from being able to play any longer. RIP Koolboy123, Oct. 1, 1992-Apr. 27, 2016 ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ

Yes, I'm sure after he was subbed off, his reaction of pure anger was because of his injury.

"Yes, I'm sure after he was subbed off, his reaction of pure anger was because of his injury." That's actually very believable. He also wasn't playing very well in the game too

The last game against Montreal, Giovinco was playing poorly and was substituted off because of injury. He didn't show any signs of frustration then but he showed signs of frustration last night. Obviously it was for a different reason, which was because he was substituted off when he wanted to continue playing.

That's just the media portraying it that was so he doesn't lose any transfer value. Also, when I said either Giovinco or Vanney will be leaving, I overexaggerated, Vanney actually did a good job coaching the team.

When Joazy Altidore was stone cold in terms of goal scoring form, the media was saying how Altidore was doing everything really well a part from finishing. That isn't true, they just wanted to keep his transfer value from sinking.

SirPaco, would YOU be frustrated if you were injured and couldn't play in the finals? I would.
