It would be REALLY cool if Developers could toggle things like running hotkeys, or even some wall jumping, etc without importing scripts. http://www.roblox.com/Cha-Cha-Cha-Chihuahua-item?id=179555192 https://www.roblox.com/library/574616988/Jai-Paul-BTSTU

What do you mean with "importing scripts"? free models? Developers dont need anything handed to them, almost everything is doable with lua. Just learn to script

Developer settings allow people to do things like forbid the use of shift lock. Actually, it's quite the contrary. @idi112 Developers quite often don't work by themselves, and these are abilities that can be implemented into the game with the click of a button. You yourself may not have any use to these, but I bet lots of other people would. http://www.roblox.com/Cha-Cha-Cha-Chihuahua-item?id=179555192 https://www.roblox.com/library/574616988/Jai-Paul-BTSTU

No support at all you can script everything with Lua as long as your PC can handle it. Love breeds sacrifice... which in turn breeds hatred. Then you can know pain.

I don't think you should help those who need it by adding this. This is literally the same thing as using free models or roblox's templates. If you want to learn how to script go to the Roblox wiki or look up a vid on ytb. Love breeds sacrifice... which in turn breeds hatred. Then you can know pain.

But that's like saying ROBLOX's walking animations, emotes, starter GUI's, and all the basic constructs of ROBLOX are basically free models. This could be like the R15, where you could toggle it or keep it disabled. http://www.roblox.com/Cha-Cha-Cha-Chihuahua-item?id=179555192 https://www.roblox.com/library/574616988/Jai-Paul-BTSTU

Newbies making quality games isn't a problem, though. ROBLOX is a platform that wants to encourage all to take a step into game design; and if this newbie invents a game that actually satisfies players, what's the problem? That's kind of a segregating comment you have there, tbh. http://www.roblox.com/Cha-Cha-Cha-Chihuahua-item?id=179555192 https://www.roblox.com/library/574616988/Jai-Paul-BTSTU

I really think you should be making everything you can by yourself. Love breeds sacrifice... which in turn breeds hatred. Then you can know pain.

"Newbies making quality games isn't a problem, though. The problem is that ppl who worked hard learning hundreds of code lines would have done all this for nothing. Newbies getting attention is not something new but your suggestion would be the same thing as ppl getting front page by creating free modeled games and click bait tycoons. We already have enough good devs not getting any attention at all. Love breeds sacrifice... which in turn breeds hatred. Then you can know pain.

It's understandable to dislike someone who copies a game and makes money off of it, people like Julius Cole, or whoever. Thing is, the only possible way someone could make a game famous with this new idea, is if they made some sort of running course, like the ones that COD: Black Ops 3 uses... Which, would actually be kinda cool tbh. But we've always had obstacle courses on ROBLOX. By the way, when I say wall jumping, I mean jumping on a wall and kicking off of it. Not running on walls like COD. http://www.roblox.com/Cha-Cha-Cha-Chihuahua-item?id=179555192 https://www.roblox.com/library/574616988/Jai-Paul-BTSTU

"When I say that, I mean that's one of the only ways someone could make a game without putting scripts into it, using the developer settings." I agree but again you should make everything you can by yourself. Roblox should not give away free scripts unless it is vital for the game. scripts like walking and such are acceptable. But since you can make a script like this then Roblox should not let it to anyone and should instead, promote imagination. Love breeds sacrifice... which in turn breeds hatred. But since you can make a script like this then Roblox should not let it to anyone and should instead, promote imagination." Good argument, some may agree with both sides of this conversation. Scripts like walking and such are acceptable, yes, but if ROBLOX is aiming for more realism with things like the R15 and animation, wouldn't these be just as acceptable? Giving developers the ability to activate other simple realistic abilities such as running, or pulling yourself over something; these are very real things. You see games like CS:GO where people make their own maps, or surfing courses. Yes, people should make everything from scrap, but you can easily distinguish what they made themselves from what ROBLOX gave them to use. So don't worry about that, you can still easily tell what they've made and not made themselves, it would still be the same as someone being given things like the walking animations. http://www.roblox.com/Cha-Cha-Cha-Chihuahua-item?id=179555192 https://www.roblox.com/library/574616988/Jai-Paul-BTSTU

I would agree to add more dev settings but the wall jumping is bugging me. And about the running ppl who use keyboards key for their game would have trouble to deal with this. plus older games who use keys would also break. Ex: I use the shift key to crawl and Roblox make it so the shift key became the run key. The game is broken. Of course, you could simply update the game and switch the keys but not everyone knows about Roblox's updates. They could think it is a problem with their script but in fact, it would be Roblox's fault. You should leave the keyboard keys alone since a lot of developers use them for certain things. That's why it can be toggled in developer settings. If it would break your game, don't activate it. Or, you know, ROBLOX could allow you to pick which hotkey to use for each of the abilities in the settings. http://www.roblox.com/Cha-Cha-Cha-Chihuahua-item?id=179555192 https://www.roblox.com/library/574616988/Jai-Paul-BTSTU

Not if the developer can change the hotkey(Key used to activate it); that prevents it from happening. http://www.roblox.com/Cha-Cha-Cha-Chihuahua-item?id=179555192 https://www.roblox.com/library/574616988/Jai-Paul-BTSTU

Not everyone knows about Roblox's update and not knowing you can change the keys would kill your game. Also, a lot of devs who made older games and do not update them anymore. So they would not change the keys ... Love breeds sacrifice... which in turn breeds hatred. Then you can know pain.

"Not everyone knows about Roblox's update and not knowing you can change the keys would kill your game. Also, a lot of devs who made older games and do not update them anymore. So they would not change the keys ..." Okay, but that's why you can toggle it. You don't see older games with inactive developers having the R15, because it isn't instantly checked when the update came out. And if a developer DOES decide to activate the realistic abilities, the hotkey list would appear below it. If they magically somehow become blind and don't see that list appear, they could just go back and deactivate it. http://www.roblox.com/Cha-Cha-Cha-Chihuahua-item?id=179555192 https://www.roblox.com/library/574616988/Jai-Paul-BTSTU
