This Group Welcome Message is pretty straightforward, when a user joins the group it will recieve an automated message from the group. The message can welcome or guide the user with a forum thread in order to get ranked up. This will help users have more knowledge on the group they have just joined. Any suggestions to this are welcome!

@chef it can also be set up for when someone has a new rank they will receive an automated message about their new rank.

see, thing is a description is used to describe something, not exactly a place for a welcome message y'know. a welcome message would be a message that welcomes people and crap. perfect place for it! saying this should just be put in the description is like saying we should start putting bread in the sink, instead of the toaster.
