I have seen many people attempting to get past the filter, and are getting more clever to do so as the filter gets stronger. This is a KIDS site, there should NOT be any harsh language! The other problem is that we have people frequently trying to scam other users.
What we need to do is to get rid of all these scams going on, which robs users of their money and even account. We need to get rid of all inappropriate content on the site as well. After all, this is what Roblox wants, but they can't moderate thousands of servers with a small moderation team.
I propose that in order to eliminate the scams, spam, and dirty language, we altogether remove the text chat, and replace it with menu chat. Don't worry, menu chat would still have /e commands. Once we completely replace text chat with menu chat, people would no longer find ways to get around the filter. Why spend hours working on a filter that ultimately people would bypass.
But thats not all, since many scammers do not scam in-game. Recently they advertise their phishing sites in a PM, comments or on chat. These features should be totally eliminated completely in order to make Roblox safe from scammers.
People do not need these chat features on Roblox since friends in real life are more important than pure virtual friends that you don't know in real life. Use other things if you want to talk to your friends. |

also when you say menu chat do you mean a drop down menu thing where you select preset phrases to chat? If so then there would be HUGE language limitations and communication would be a living nightmare. |

I do mean the drop down menu. It would not be a limitation because real life friends are more important than virtual friends. Plus you can communicate with real friends in other things such as twitter, ######### texting on iPhone. |

Because people that bypass the filter can easily be reported and banned by the mods and admins. It's what they're paid to do.
