StapIeton County, V2 Release Information
Good evening Firestone,
Within this document, you will find all the necessary information you need to know about the second version of StapIeton County. It is imperative that you read carefully to prevent confusion and chaos. There are several sections in this document pertaining to different sects of people, such as departments and regular citizens. For easy guidance, we have provided a table of contents for you to find what you need to read with ease.

SECTION A: General Alpha Information
On April 1, the Alpha version of StapIeton County V2 will see it’s debut. There is a lot of information you will need to know prior to playing this game. To play, you must pay 1,000 robux. This is generally because StapIeton County is not fully playable and you are simply paying to play early and check out what it seems like. Obviously, the game is not done and there will be many bugs you will encounter. When you encounter a bug, it is important that you take the proper steps in order to fix the issue.
What are the steps to take when you see a bug? The first step you should do is immediately press “F9” on your keyboard, which will bring up the Developer Console. Within this console, you have a tab of “Local Logs.” If there is a red text under that section, then there is obviously a bug within the game. You should screenshot that specific portion and PM the image to a developer for them to see and fix it. If there are no red words, you should know the steps on how you got the bug to occur. When we are unable to reproduce the error, then the bug may never be fixed. Make sure to PM a developer the exact steps you have done in order to get the bug.
Please know that the Alpha is nowhere near completion, and that on initial release there will be plenty of departments not yet functional. Keep in mind that throughout the duration of the Alpha, departments and tools will be added in to make all departments fully functional. During this time period StapIeton V1 will remain open to the public to play until StapIeton V2 is fully released.
Throughout Alpha and Beta, the datastores are expected to be reset here and there for testing purposes until full release. Cash purchases in StapIeton V1 will no longer be available, as well as a custom plate. This is to ensure that we do not waste our time on fixing data within V1.

SECTION B: Department Information
No department will receive 100% of the tools and resources they need on the release date of Alpha. Everything is still in development and may not possibly even be shown until we get further into Alpha.
**PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL SPECIAL DIVISIONS WILL NOT BE IN UNTIL LATER IN ALPHA**
LAW ENFORCEMENT
What you will start off with when you join the team is an arrest tool, citation book, and some guns. Your job is to mainly patrol and enforce laws that can be enforced properly. Please note that you will be missing a lot of tools in the initial release that will be added as the Alpha goes on.
FIRE DEPARTMENT
Fire Department will not be functional in initial release, (we are still tweaking some things with the Fire System). The initial release is the bones and skeletal system of the game, and you can expect it to be added later on.
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS/TRANSPORTATION
Public Works as-well as Transportation will not be functional in initial release alongside the Fire Department. As stated in the Fire Department section, the initial release is the bones and skeletal system of the game, and you can expect both departments to be functional later on in the Alpha.

SECTION C: Citizen Information
Upon release of Alpha, all laws will remain in effect from the beginning of the release. If you do commit crime in V2 Alpha or Beta, it will still be considered crime and go on your permanent record (considered yourself warned). Citizens will spawn in Redwood (middle of the county) while Visitors will spawn in Prominence (way down the main highway).

SECTION D: Beta Information
This will be all the information for when we plan to move StapIeton County V2 into the Beta phase. We do not plan on moving into the Beta until the following things are completed;
- Full map being completed
- All departments being completed
- All subdivisions being completed
- All tools being completed
- All stores/dealers being completed
With this being said, once we move into the Beta phase after all that is completed the price of the game will drop to 250 robux making it cheaper for players to test the game. Please note that at this phase the game is still not completed and that buying the Beta is to support development and get to play the game earlier than average players. At this stage the game will be playable for all departments as they will all be finished.

SECTION E: Alpha & Beta Perks
As we appreciate all of our Alpha and Beta testers, there will be rewards/perks for buying either the Alpha or Beta. We want all players to know that these perks will not happen till the full release of the game, (after Beta). Perks for Alpha will include;
- A car specifically for Alpha players
- Special Alpha car color
- Custom Alpha car plate
- Special gun at the gun store only for Alpha players
- Cash boost on full release
Perks for Beta will include;
- Special Beta car color
- Custom Beta car plate
- Cash boost on full release
We want all of our Alpha testers to know that buying the Alpha will cause you to get the Beta perks as-well, (meaning yes, if you have the Alpha you get Alpha + Beta perks on full release).

SECTION F: Conclusion
The purpose of this forum is to tell everyone what they should suspect going into the Alpha, as-well as moving through the Alpha into the Beta. Please note that you do not have to purchase V2 Alpha/Beta to play as you can wait till the full release of the game, (the Alpha is meant for testers as-well as an ability to play the game early). We appreciate everyone who plans to take part in the Alpha to help us bug test, and look forward to seeing the reaction of the community come full release. We strongly urge all players to remember though, that Alpha WILL BE INCOMPLETE, and there will be plenty of things missing to the full game. V2 Alpha release on April 1st, 2017, see you there.

Will we get an airport, that is functional once fully completed, which allows the Department of Aviation to operate and for airlines to as well? |

I believe there is a law in progress to start a firearms association to where you can have permits, that might not be put it for a bit though. So if you do end up buying one and don't want to get arrested, don't show it to cops and keep it concealed, as well as don't kill anyone. |

####### I get we have an international but some people don't want to have to swap games to then rejoin the same one for a flight, if we have one in V2 everything would be smooth but I would assume long haul flights would be done at international. |

so like ur a good governor and developer and all but i think this is an april fools tbh and why would ppl buy this for 1k robux if there is just gonna be bugs and if anything you would get way more sales if it was ####### to 100 robux or something like that because if you do that 1) you have more people finding bugs 2) more money rolling in 3) you could just keep it 100 robux throughout the whole period of alpha |

Will the county be less laggy? I remember way back when, when they said that v2 will have little to no lag.

Why so much,it's a game,no one can even afford enough for even VIP passes on old games,you need to stop being money hungry.While I will look forward to the development, I want to see the price drop by possibly enough to help ROBLOX reach its goals of Robux issues every big update,allowing many players to join!Thanks for taking the time to read this,I hope the changes will be made and look forward to seeing the development.Once again,thank you! |
