So by making it illegal for law-following citizens to carry firearms in airports, schools, and malls...by your logic this helps stop shootings...
You do understand that the less gun laws there are the less crime there is...
By making it legal to carry in airports this will just make it so law-following citizens will be armed in these places, you think these shooters care if its a gun-free zone or not?
And the "It's up to security to stop them." argument...That seems to work perfectly well especially in schools & clubs... |

Since the 1990 act of gun free zones (in schools) there have been more school shootings then ever before...
Back in the 20s, 30s, 40s, etc. there were a lot less gun restrictions for law-following citizens. Now days firearm laws are a lot more restrictive and there is MORE crime?!?!

If a teacher is going to shoot up a school they are going to do it regardless if they need to go (most likely) illegally buy a firearm or if there is one in there class room...
Removing the 2nd amendment from our schools has been one of the worst mistakes this country has ever made. Back 50 years ago kids would bring there shotguns to school and put them in there lockers, after school they would go hunting. Believe it or not, back then there were a lot less school shootings... |
