Why would ROBLOX not allow 60% of their players unable to play the game after all they've done to try and make it safe for kids?

I am not saying ban those, but have a pegi rating thing so that parents will not be that persuaded to get their children roblox. I know this is really unlikely to happen but if it did then roblox would be a much better place. Like GTA even though it has a 18+ rating kids still play it. I want roblox to be like that (sort of as in having a high rating)

What Lee said. It's not happening for several reasons. ROBLOX is directed towards kids, why would they ban their target audience? ROBLOX also gets a lot of money from kids. Little kids shouldn't be playing, but the parents can manage that, not ROBLOX.

For the last time, in no place did I say ban, I said change the target audience. Where did you get the idea of ban from???

Oh, I just realised, the title is a bit misleading. Sorry for that, but if you read the full post then you will see what I want is for roblox to change its target audience to include 13+ instead of 6-8 year olds.

"Should Roblox be only for [ VIII +]?" You did say if it should be only for VIII +, not change the target audience.

Ok I am sorry for the misleading title but if you spared a minute to read the post then you will see what I meant. Also I had a question mark at the end. The title was to attract attention. And I did not say Ban those under that age. I just said should it for XIII and above.

PEGI and ESBR do not rate online gameplay and do not change rating based on persuasion. This is my signature. R$0

The title is totally misleading! Better to tell the truth than try to get attention.

tl;dr it isn't roblox's job to parent kids and they'd lose most their users

I mean, I support this... I support the post, anyway. I do have a point that I believe you missed. Take a look at the popular section. It's filled with 'DanTDM tycoon' or 'ROBLOX tycoon'. They're all bland tycoon games that are essentially just flatpack games. Look in the description of them all, links to groups, social media. Then the gamepasses. Overpriced things you see on virtually every one of these tycoons is 'Infinite money' and 'More gear'. It isn't just tycoons either. Every day another 'Escape ~Insert object here~ obby!', again, with overpriced gamepasses, and links to groups. They are taking advantage of the younger kids that are too gullible to realise these games are trash, and when they reach the front page, more people play them, and buy gamepasses. Eventually I discovered one such developer who, if he keeps going at this rate, will be in the top 30 richest people on roblox in another couple of months. Not to mention the fact all of this robux can be turned into real money. This is essentially people earning money from gullible children, because roblox refuses to crack down on these clickbait games. Roblox has made their position clear, they aren't gonna stop these awful games invading their popular section, they won't remove them, they won't do anything to stop them. Neither will they add this idea. I want them to. But they won't. https://youtu.be/jBNEHTicGHg?t=1m13s

changing the target audience wouldnt rlly work bc most the games are targeted towards children

@nintendocaprisun57 I totally agree with this. If the targeted audience was older there will be less scams and less angry parents. Older kids know to never buy stuff from tycoons or obbies because we only play it once and just leave it. Robux is valuable and not used to buy some infinite cash that you will only use once.
