Assuming you meant web Burr he had a much more productive season than Subban statically, so...

When you trade for a guy to win now, it's not about season stats. It's about going deep. Subban's in the second round. Web's out. Like, the window's shorter with him. You can't waste it. Wingels!

Unfortunately it's not that black and white. Webet helped his team more than Subban. Hockey is a team sport and one trade can not be held accountable for your entire season

Subban - 10-30-40 0.606060606 ppg 54.4 CF% 47.2 OZone Start% ###### 17-25-42 ########### ppg 51.3 CF% 46.8 OZone Start% Subban had a better season statistically.

Well if all you have to do is mention a couple advanced stats where Subban is better, then sure. Otherwise, ##### has more points and a better +/- so

# #### ###### in 12 more games. and +/- is not a legit stat.

Realizing that ##### barely had more points in far more games so fair enough. But his +/- being better by 28 more than makes up for it

+/- is the most important stat, actually. in hockey you win by scoring more goals than the other team. Do you know what +/- measures?
FrozenRazor
#215070249Sunday, April 23, 2017 3:36 AM GMT

goals for while on ice vs goals against, but by saying that, does that mean that nick leddy is subpar to seidenberg because he had a better +/-?

Analytics are the most overrated thing in hockey and this was proven by the total clownshow that was the coaching career of Dallas Eakins.

while the only advanced stat that is truly important is corsi, if you're gonna try to prove a point, make sure you're right.

The thing about Webs is: - He's older - He's signed for longer - He's only got a few good years left (he'll probably start to digress around 35, based on other players) So you really have to make the years count. With them losing in the first round, it's a wasted year that they really don't have much room for. Wingels!

A +/- difference of 28 is definitely large enough to indicate a better contribution to a team despite a ### ########## ## ###### per game, +/- is definitely not irrelevant xx

Despite a .18 ppg difference
FrozenRazor

no it isn't. going back to my point, seidenberg had a + 17, leddy had a -3, with a differential of 14. yet leddy is significantly better.
