Hello, I've tried almost every screen recorder out there and none of them seem to work for me. I've tried OBS and it doesn't lag when I record a game but when I watch the video it's frozen and is only is for 4 seconds. I've also tried Bandicam and it doesn't lag when I record but the video is laggy. # #### ## #### #### quality videos but I don't know what to do. I would like one that is free.

ROBLOX's player has a recording option in the menu, but if you don't want laggy or unpolished results I'd not recommend using it, as it can be glitchy at times. I don't think you're going to find a free recording software that isn't laggy, doesn't have a watermark, or framerate issues.

Thanks for replying. I've used the Roblox recoder, but it isn't the best like you said. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either. And yeah, you're right. I may have to just buy one. Do you know any recorders that are good and not that expensive?

What about Camtasia? I've never used that one, but I've heard about it. Is that one good and worth to use?

I currently use a recorder called Loilo Game Recorder and it's free and has no watermark but its REALLY laggy all time and it's getting annoying. I think I may need a new computer as well. We've had this one for maybe 5 or 4 years. maybe longer.

loligame recorder works like a charm it does reduce fps a bit so i recommend lowering your graphics setting it's really smooth post production though it however does take a lot of memory on your harddrive IT'S DESPERATION! | https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmzSBYLHcF7CNmLOKp6wQbg

Fraps is pretty bad, in my opinion. A 20 seconds video is worth as 1 GB. Bandicam works fine for me

OBS is best free option Camtasia is best paid one (comes with an editor too)

if you have an nvidia card: geforce experience shadowplay or for anything else, try OBS, you'll just have to mess about with the settings (or use a video for the best settings). camtasia now leaves a watermark, but that can be removed if you look on youtube

###### no camtasia only leaves a watermark if you use the trial. Not if you buy it

i wasn't stating that you moron. no one's going to buy camtasia for what it is. it's about as powerful as windows movie maker.

But camtasia has a great screen recorder, plus not everyone wants to learn final cut or premiere lol. Camtasia 9's editor is sleek and easy to use, and in many use cases (especially presentations, since thats part of what its made for) its the perfect software package. And its only $10 a month, or $200 to buy a license outright. Compare that to other software packages ($300 for final cut, $400 for vegas, $20/month for premiere, etc) Plus cost of recording software (many seem to be $60) Perhaps you can see why camtasia is a viable option?

I think OBS is the best option in my opinion. (Open Broadcasting Software)
