One thing I'm very interested in is making a sort of a game where you walk on the sea floor in a mech suit, the only problem is that I can't make it so that a mech suit would be able to stick to the terrain underwater, while other players swim around. What I propose is that ROBLOX make a system to enable scripting to be able to make certain players act normal underwater, and others differently.
Not sure how it would work or be implemented, I just thought it was a nice idea. |

The Simpsons couch gags are like Superbowl ads. That's you watch it for. |

scriptable and not required in every game, but it would still be a good thing to have

Very hard to script however. It'd be a better feature to give this ability to all players as a studio option. |

i think i've seen a suggestion like this before, but a bit more in-depth
players had an extra property that controlled how they reacted in water
they could swim normally
only swim horizontally,
only swim vertically (by jumping)
or not swim at all (not under the effect of water, except buoyancy)

What you mean hard to script I literally just linked you to the script
Did you even click the link?

My apologies, I skipped over it |

Though the script doesn't seem like it would be able to accomplish my needs. |

Weight would probably fix this?

@Surgo
Unfortunately no, weight would definitely help, but it would still have the player trying to swim. What I propose is an anchor like ability that altogether sticks the player to the terrain, and voids the water effect for individuals by the developers choice. |

It works. Try it.
