To elaborate on what Veroax said, It's not going downhill, but the community has been overrun by much younger players, and Roblox developers know that they can benefit from this by making superficial changes to the site and removing features to make everything more kid friendly and make less people feel left out, while simultaneously promoting the games that may be poorly scripted or uninspired but leech on the popularity of big titles in gaming to increase their profit and exposure to newer audiences. Personally, I believe this is really taking away from that appeal that Roblox originally had that drew me to it so long ago in the first place. But of course, that is just my opinion on the matter. |

No roblox is not going downhill, it shot itself in the leg a long time ago back when they added extreme censor. They are just now simply rotting on the ground, and being eaten away by maggots that are the noobs. They are losing every bit of life they have with each passing update taking them away from their body and into hell.

The game itself is fine and really hasn't decreased in quality TBH. It's the community that's the problem, with online daters, greedy clickbaiters, and normies. |

I'ma give a better answer.
It's not really going Downhill. Ever since roblox removed tix, they got a very high boost in money. (Since the only way to get robux is to buy it or do it the hard way.) There are also OD'er.s that buy useless stuff in the catalog.
It's just the community that's going Downhill.
There's also youtubers advertising it majorly.
Players probably say it's going "downhill" because of the horrible community. (No offense.)

Noobs aren't really the problem. I've met some nice "noobs" in my time. The main part I'm concerned about is the youtubers. I mean, the newer ones. I actually got onto roblox because of Bereghost. Anyways, the new youtubers..I just don't like them. They just bring a horde of little kids obsessed with DTM and Denis.
tl;dr: Roblox is alright. New youtubers are not. |

It depends who you ask. Most older ROBLOX players (3+ years) would say yes, while newer players would say no. I have been playing since 2009 and I use to think that the new updates were absolutely horrible - I still do depending on the update - but I realized that ROBLOX is becoming a bigger website and they cannot cater to everyone's independent needs, but, rather, have to work for the benefit of everyone and simplify the website. The newer players, I feel, are a younger age base thus the reason for the stricter filter and simplifying the website - or even the forum 'upgrade'. I personally like the pre update ROBLOX better but I understand that things must change overtime to benefit everyone as a whole. :)
