~400 Years after Siegfried and Nightmares final battle~
A dark power rising, the soul edge, a powerful sword that can give the one who weilds it immense power and change its apperance to the users weapon, has consumd and is controling a new victim. new heros have risen while others have fallen, and the soul calibur is soon to be weilded be a worthy hero, but some evil power has weakened it, making it a short sword apperance and only a 5th of its original light power, time is fleeting and the dark one is rapidly become stronger, will you join in his destruction? will you take the soul edge for yourself? or defeat the soul edge and become the greatest of the heros? Your path will show you...
