@fuggles but Roblox can also run OpenGL, if not as efficient. Actually, quite horribly.
I remember having to factory restore this laptop just 3 days after I first got it due to me meddling with the settings in the control panel for my graphics card. It was as if I somehow disabled Direct3D by changing a graphics quality slider, I could NOT get it going again... I put all the settings I'd changed back, nothing, even reinstalling DirectX, nothing. Then again, that WAS Vista...
But GOD did roblox run HORRIBLY when it was under OpenGL for me... Even ONE BRICK caused major lag.
Again though, that was likely the result of my settings-meddling, not the actual efficiency. |

WINE is a compatibility layer. It basically implements the Windows API using the POSIX library. Which means DirectX9 works just fine on it. |
