Getting a bit paranoid about hacks, so what do you rate AVG?
What do you recommend? |

Had it before it is highly recommended by lots of people and it never fails to let people down. It's one of the most popular anti-virus programs today. |

Avast.
It's free, and it updates its virus database almost daily. I'm yet to have a breach with it. |

Norton>All.
Even though it costs a lot, you'll NEVER catch a virus while having norton active.
I have both a pc and a mac,
When using AVG on pc I got tons of viruses that AVG couldn't terminate.
Using Norton on my pc, Norton was able to terminate all of them+I haven't got one since.

Norton's the best. Have used it for years and never had a single problem with it. |

Downloaded avast! Thanks everyone, I downloaded the free one though. Should I keep AVG as well as avast? Not a matter of lag/no lag though. |

One Anti-Virus at a time. I hear two is a bad thing.

I found this on a different site.
"I have installed the trial version of ESEt yesterday without uninstalling McAffee. Big mistake. My PC freezes now and it doesn't allow me to uninstall either of them." |

Bad imo, scans rather slow and keels other AV's. I use a free version of Norton, it is basically a virus shield even if you run one on purpose. Norton + Webroot all the way.
