scagsthehobo No talent. They don't deserve fame.

So if you can't sing you have no musical talent?

scagsthehobo I'm talking about RAPPERS, not people who play an instrument, they have talent. Rappers can't sing, honestly. All they do is get a producer to write their music and they just do what they say. They use autotune to cover their terrible voice. If you watch any of them live, they lip sync. People who can actually sing and put an effort into their band deserve the fame.

>lily That's incredibly stupid of you to generalize all rappers like that. Thre are plenty of rappers who produce their own music instead of getting someone else to do it for them. And out of all rappers I listen to, only one uses auto-tune, but that's for experimental purposes. And not all of them lip-sync. Rapping takes talent and if it's so easy then make your own.

"Rapping takes talent and if it's so easy then make your own." Please, anyone can. 1. Rap songs are all about violence, drugs, and other bad stuff in the world and how to do it. While on the other hand, rock sings about violence, drugs, and other bad stuff, but they tell you how to deal with them. 2. Everyone that listens to rap are posers. They do not make their own trends, they only follow them. While rock fans make their own trends. Rock fans are not ashamed to dress like freaks. It makes them individuals. Everyone that listens to rap dresses alike (FuBu cloths, yankees cap, etc.), and talks alike (wazzup dawg, jigga, etc.). Rock fans just dress in black. That's it. Nothing else! Anything else, and they have done it individually! 3. All rap songs sound alike. Enough said. 4. Rap videos are degrading to women. They insult all people of different races and sexes different from them. Just look at a DMX rap video...ever see a white person (or any other race in them)? 6. Ever been to a rap concert? Hundreds of police around, and your getting frisked worse then a White House Intern!!!

>Rap songs are all about violence, drugs, and other bad stuff in the world and how to do it. That's like me saying that Rock music is all about anti-christianity and devil worship. Also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXbIwH43H0o Again, making generalizations about genres are incredibly ignorant. >2. Everyone that listens to rap are posers. IT's funny, not only do you generalize fans of Rap, but you also generalize fans of Rock. You're probably trolling but you mad me reply so 8/10. >3. All rap songs sound alike. Enough said. MF DOOM does not sound like Chief Keef. >4. Rap videos are degrading to women. They insult all people of different races and sexes different from them. Never breed with another human being.

All genres have artists that will touch on negative things in their lyrics. Deal with it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pY8exKN4pJw

Generalizations? Its what MOST rap is this day. I didn't mean ALL of rap. I'm talking about the ones on average radio. You can't deny that rap has created bad name for itself. Yes I know that most songs have touched a negative subject in their lyrics, I'm saying that rap has the highest amount of negative lyrics. What I'm saying is, I respect your taste in rap, even though it might not be my favorite. I can see you're right on parts, but their is two sides to the argument, in which no one can be right. I just don't want our generation to listen to the stereotypical rap these days, and some rock songs, I admit, have bad messages. Now I let you be.

>I'm talking about the ones on average radio. You didn't clarify that. >Yes I know that most songs have touched a negative subject in their lyrics, I'm saying that rap has the highest amount of negative lyrics. No, that's probably NSBM. It's basically a genre full of the promotion of National Socialist beliefs. >I just don't want our generation to listen to the stereotypical rap these days Chances are that those people don't even listen to what the rapper is saying. People usually listen to Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane for the catchy beat. Yeah, I understand your problem with it all but it's something that can't be solved so you'll have to live with it.

Holy crap, y'all are so brainwashed by your music style. You can't go and bash something and say I respect your opinion. People write lyrics about how they feel and then people go and dis them for being http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-OoZNENl0Cg "When I make a song it's just like a movie to me. I wanna go into detail. Yanno? Every song is a story to me. Yanno? That's the stuff I think about. Everybody thinks about dark stuff. Why when somebody finally says it it's such a big deal?"

Watch that video, and that makes your generalization invalid.
