You know how there are people who copy clothes and things. Well I used to do it, and now I regret doing it... I think there should be an option for creative people in roblox. That option is for clothes, the option is that there should be a copy lock when making clothes. Like models, but for clothes. That way if someone wants to copy clothes and the owner doesn't want them to copy it, they won't be able to copy the clothes the real owner works so hard on. Anyone agree with the idea? It would help many people from fighting and getting mad at each other |

Yeah, if you want someone to take copy you let them by unlocking it, but I was thinking, if the user didn't want anyone to copy their clothes, he could lock it and no one could see it, instead it would say "Sorry, the owner does not want you to view this image." or something like that. |

Copylock clothes? Clothes are already copylocked. They should disable how you copy clothes. You know how you paste the number on the end of another hat and it brings you to the asset page? They should lock that and make it like "404 Not Found".

What he means by not being able to copy clothing is that you couldn't view the template. |

I can't view assets by inserting them into the address bar anymore, so I don't know if this has already been solved.

See, every item has a template that comes with it. I don't know what would happen if they remove that template, though. I'm not sure if shirts would even have their design anymore. Though, if they were to put a certain permission level on item templates, that would be good. Shirt/Pants templates can only be accessed by the creator of them.

You can still get to the Template page and copy it by Google and such.
But what about remaking? Remaking isin't copying, its just making it better.

I mean, when you go to the page, it sees if you're the owner or not. Going to it by Google search couldn't keep you off the page, but the update would keep you from copying the shirt.
