You can change the pitch of sounds to hide the sound. Then in game you could just change it and make it the original sound. And also you could just combine sounds in an inappropriate formation to make something that'd normally be CD'd. Also over suggested. No support, and any fool who supports it should have some common sense.

Have you ever thought, for a second, that roblox has bills for their company to pay, paying their workers and trying to keep a roof over their heads and their families? "The online population that actually knows how to create or upload sound is extremely small, around the size of people who know how to script." There are millions of players on roblox. Extremely small would mean hundreds and thousands of people.

Support but doubt this will happen without some kind of builders club, a while back I took a Roblox servery and it brought this very subject up. Its said if they made a "Developer's Club" that would allow you to upload user made meshes and sounds, would this make people more likely to buy this type of builder's club? I hit yes.. regret it, but its true.. Roblox WILL NOT add this back unless they can make money off it... It would be great if they could just re-add it back...

Moderation wouldn't work. I guarantee that within two weeks of this feature being up, someone would upload a comprehensive set of all the sounds found in speech (i.e. the pronunciation of every letter/letter combination), and that would make it outstandingly easy to put in profanity. It's better to count on the devs to upload sounds, and be creative with what you have. I've never needed a sound that I couldn't make with the sounds I know of.

Severe moderation would be needed. Of course. Mods should be able to change the pitch of the sound while moderating it to make sure that it's ok. As for "piecing together profanity", just report it.

I had a post like this but it didn't have to do with users uploading sounds but instead the admins upload sounds users would find useful. (Not just for their gear!)
