The IP's of those banned will NOT be disclosed to the other players, the owner, or anyone else. It will ban the current IP of the player in question, without releasing any information.
Kind of like Personal Server banning. You put a name in the list, press a button, and the place blocks out the IP last logged in.
Kinda sketchy, but this is for PLACES ONLY. If someone doesn't want a certain person in their place, alt or not, they should be allowed to keep them out. |

Hero, when I read the personal server part, it made me want to revise a very old suggestion.
My first idea was to use a script to do it, player.Ban(), but I figured hackers could use that. |

People can reset their IP addresses, change it, or mask it.
Not all IP addresses are perminent on computers, some can be edited, covered up, or changed, others cant.
Some computers operate their IP address off of their router or modem, so if they just reset the router or modem, it would refresh their IP, thus giving them full access again.
This is how people do it to get un-IP Banned from ANY website, forum, or area of the internet.
An IP ban is not the most efficient way, it has its flaws. but for the moment, its one of the best things moderators or owners can do.
because you cant force somebody from being capable to access a website, its just impossible at todays current technology and computer level. |

It takes longer to make a new account then it does to undo an IP ban

Some people have visitors, cousins, friends, siblings, etc who play roblox at their house, and could unfairly get everyone in the house banned when they did nothing wrong
