It's the year 2114. The globe has experianced a massive climate shift in the early 21st century and been terraformed. Places like New York City and Chicago are frozen over. London, Paris and Madrid are still inhabitable. The rest of the world? Who knows? The world is being taken over by a government force called the Way, and the Way wants the the world to be purifyed. The Other Way (also known as the Resistance) is group of warriors against the Way. They try to return the world to democracy... they just don't know that may soon be an impossible task...
This wasn't the only building left, but it was the easiest to access. The Empire State building, most of the upper levels frozen solid, loomed over Manhatten. Hundreds of years ago, there would be people in the streets. Not anymore. No one lingered in the streets... unless they had a death wish...
Nora turned around. "Well? Any more genius ideas?"
Jack shook his head. "Look, the explosion wasn't entirely my fault..."
"Oh, come on."
The rest of the Ice Warriors- all five of them- stared at Jack. He turned red.
mean-while......Sorobitrix, was busy looking for something to eat in the vast, well not so vast field.
Sorobitrix stood still blending in with the wreckage and grass. Strangely nothing seem to move except the wind blowing on the grass.
Sorobitrix quietly states. "No movement? Some must be going on, There's always animals scurring through these parts.
Sorobitrix then started to crawl his way through the grass still looking for something to eat
The rest of the Ice Warriors- all five of them- stared at Jack. He turned red.
"What, I thought it would work!"
“So you admit to it!"
Sorobitrix continued his crawling until he smelled smoke. He stood up looking into the horizon, seeing black smoke, coming from what seemed to look like a city! Now for months Sorobitrix hasn't seen or heard from another person. This made him think.
"Well maybe there could be more people in this place, or it could just be another crash or problem and everyone died.Hopefully others are there."
"It was just an explosion!" Jack said.
Nora, Getting frustrated with Jack"You BLEW UP the subway system!"
"But no one was there!" Jack stated.
Nora, then yelling"That was a shelter!" Proved a point.
"Both of you shut up!" another Ice Warrior yelled, annoyed. Jack angrily flung a rock out the window.
Sorobitrix outside, of the building with smoke stood dramatizied, for he hoped for more people to be here. Yet he say nor heard anyone. When suddenly a rock hit him in the head. He took and and threw it into a window in the building, for he could not control his anger.
The rock smashed back into another window.
Jack looked outside. "Watch where you throw things!"
"Hypocrite..." Nora muttered.
Then Sorobitrix looked up yelling,
" Hey, stop wait! I can't belive it !! Other humans! Wow"
Accidently Sorobitrix run's up the stair's tripping pushing the self destruct button on building. Triggering a auto-matic countdown to destruction.
Miraculasley, Sorobitrix run's and they all blow up dying. Sorobitrix survied. Maybe other humans did not survive, Or maybe he killed them from his so called accidents.
Sorobitrix sadly says
"Oh, man Yet I cause another promble killing more people....Thank god cops are dead or I'd be top number one on America's most wanted."
Then Sorobitrix remembers. It has been a good six through twelve month’s since he saw more humans from today. This was a problem for him, And his sell a-steam. Then surprisingly, Nora crawls out of the wreckage, bruised and bleeding. Sorobitrix, run’s over and starts to try and stop the bleeding. Wrapping clothe around the cuts, dipping the clothe in water to wash the blood off, and doing all he could and all he knew.
Nora moaning ever so quietly. “Thank-you, but now my friends are dead, how can I trust you, for you are the one to kill them?”
Sorobitrix simply replys. “My mis-take honestly. I’ve always been causing problems like this, I am most re-gretabley sorry for what has happen.”
Nora not able to resist asking. “ Where are you from? What is your name?”
Sorobitrix coughed then said, “I’m from Florida, My name is Sorobitrix. I use to be a mountain climber, in other words explorer, but in Antarctica, I cause the Shelf to break straight through to another shelf, causing loads of ice to float towards Florida. The heat near Florida then started to melt the ice causing to much water, making a flood which covered Florida. I was on one of those ice piece’s. I swam to land taking a boat on dock, to land, which from then I started to hunt for my food to survive.”
Nora shocked could not say a bit. She could not belive how his life has gone down the drain. She cannot belive he caused world dis-order.
Sorobitrix asking, trying to change subject. “So what’s your name? What city is this or was? And what happened here?
Nora finaly able to accept the fact that he and her may be last one’s alive, replied “My name is Nora. This use to be New york. Until my buddy blew up the subway system causing buildings, roads, and more to fall underground and cave in.”
Sorobitrix not able to control, laughed until he was on the floor rolling. Nora getting frustrated said, “ Hey! Stop laughing, your life wasn’t so great either. And he was a good friend!”
Sorobitrix feeling bad for laughing stopped. And stared off into the distance. “What?” Nora asked looking in the same direction as him.
Sorobitrix then stood up, Still staring in that direction, and asked, “Did you see or hear anything? Because I shure did, and whatever it was, was not animal nor human. Not breathing. More of a machine.”
Nora sarcastically not beliviing him replyed, “Yes….I saw it, It was huge, stupid and caused a bunch of people to die.”
Sorobitrix snapping, but still staring off into the distance said, “ It’s not a joking matter. What is a machine? Not breathing, no humans could have built. Doing on Earth? What could it be?.”
Nora surprisingly answered, “ Zorcangs, But those were made way back in the days in area 51 by accident. They exscaped the facility, And dug into Earth. But the government told us they took care of them.”
Sorobitrix turned to her and said, “ Are you crazy!? The government has always lied to us. They said global warming is fake, which is clearly not now! And your telling me they took care of the so called Zorocangs!?”
Nora stopped and thought for a second then said, “ Yes? I do not know! Stop yelling at me!”
Then all the sudden from the tree’s around New York, a machine with two legs, wings, Teeth, Claws, and tailons, came out and roared a big beast like roar with drool coming out of it’s mouth. Nora and Sorobitrix ran for cover hoping they can exscape this thing, this creature, this robot.
