Hello there, i'm usmckabar, and i'm just going to share a few tips with you, on how to reduce the chances of your account getting 'hacked'.

First off, 9 times out of ten, your account is not actually hacked, but scammed out of you. If any user at all claims they need your pa$$w0rd for something, they are lying, not even ROBLOX Staff will ask for your pa$$w0rd! By giving your account pa$$w0rd away, you are giving the key to your account away. This is not hacking, this is called scamming. Remember,
. There is NO such thing as free Builders Club/Robux - if a user is claiming they can give you free Builders Club/Robux, they cannot. Do not give them your pa$$w0rd because that is all they want.
. Do not fall for fake ROBLOX Staff members - ROBLOX staff members will never ask for your pa$$w0rd, so if someone is pretending to be a staff member, and needs your pa$$w0rd, again, they are lying.
. There is no such thing as catalog hacks - if a user is claiming they can give you a free item from a catalog, then they are lying, and again, only want your pa$$w0rd.
. There is no such thing as BC, Robux or Ticket injectors - never download a program that claims it can give you free BC, R$ or Tix, and never input your login details on websites.

Another popular way of accounts being 'hacked' is pa$$word guessing. This basically means that your pa$$w0rd was weak and easy to guess. Here are some tips on making a strong pa$$w0rd,
. Do not include your username within the pa$$w0rd - this is something that all pa$$w0rd guessers try first. Keep your username out of your pa$$w0rd.
. If your username has numbers in them, do not use those numbers in the pa$$w0rd - try using different numbers in your pa$$w0rd to make it harder to guess.
. Make the pa$$w0rd personal - try to make the pa$$w0rd something that you like, or example, the name of your pet, but make sure other people do not know what it is.
. Do not make the pa$$w0rd common words - such as, colours, foods, general items ect...

Here is a list of the main tips that should be followed,
. Verify your account with an emai| - add an emai| to your account and then click the link in the emai|, so your account is verified. Then, if someone manages to 'hack' your account, you get get the pa$$w0rd back via your emai| Plus, you also get this FREE hat: http://www.roblox.com/Verified-Bonafide-Plaidafied-item?id=102611803
. Do not make your pa$$w0rd obvious
. Change your pa$$w0rd every so often
. Never ever give your pa$$w0rd away
. Never download "free BC, R$ or Tix programs" - they are fake!
. Report ALL users who attempt to steal your pa$$w0rd, this will get them banned, to prevent them from doing it again.

How do you know it got hacked? The ROBLOX Staff say themselves that it is impossible to hack accounts nowadays. You might've gotten keylogged, meaning another user was keeping track of the keys you type. Ive heard that this happens a lot these days, not a lot, but more than before :P. Idk how users do this.
Try doing what above said, then contanct [email protected]. They can certainly help you since they probably have some files containing your old stuff before the keylogger came around.
Please stop saying you got hacked. You can't get hacked anymore.

Every website is hackable. I'm 100% sure that there are actually few holes still in roblox website. As i just got 6 months of BC for reporting a reflected XSS hole in roblox. Guide is pretty
helpful but yeah, every website is hackable. Lol. |
