I agree. Free-Roaming games like Skyrim may have a storyline, but you get to explore a HUMUNGOUS map filled with NPCs, shops, chests, and monsters. |

Exactly when i joined roblox it was all obbys or sword fights it wasn't fun.
But now people like you Rukiryo has the knowledge and the passion to create
a game that makes you want to think about it the next day. For example I LOVED pokemon destinies when i found out about it I was like What?? and when i joined i was like WOW I found shiny pichu and had great ADVENTURE thats what kind of a game should be like something you will have fun and think about it. |

Try taking a look at other peoples scripts and learn from them.I'm not saying steal the script and put it into your own game i'm saying open up the script learn from it and create your own. |

I just realized... without all of these great adventure games on ROBLOX, I would've never started learning to script. For me, ROBLOX wasn't a tool for scripting, I failed in the 3 dimensional world. It was more for motivation, to step away from what everyone else was doing and to make something unique. I enjoy playing games on ROBLOX, but i enjoy making my own even more. |

The adventure genre is one undermined by others such fighting, and others etc..
But I just realized that the interaction in adventure game is just amazing. Yeah you can battle with swords with other people but, but an adventure game is one where you interact with the whole environment and go into the depth of the game. I've learned that I have made most of my friends from adventure games. I am finally motivated to actually learn scripting now :D |

@iSystemERROR The game you described first sounds really fun! If you released a game like that I know I and many other would play ^-^ Keep working on it, i'd love to see that as a front page adventure game instead of some SF place |

Well, I'm working on a One Piece game with a lot of adventure. Its not close to done but there ill be different islands to explore, each will be unique in different ways, and youll be able to sail around the map, unlocking new features and new shops with different items in each. |

I get what you mean, Ruk. The new game that's in development(It's in it's alpha stages) called StarMade Is basically like Minecraft but outer space. And the "Universe" in StarMade is literally infinite. People are trying to help support it and get it on Steam and I would LOVE to see StarMade on Steam and I would definitely get it. I watched the Yogscast play it and they showed how much imagination you can put into making your ships, but they never really explored outer space much, so I really want to get it myself on Steam(If it comes on Steam, which i'm sure it will) So i'm REALLY looking forward to it. |
