Like alot of IRC servers ive been on, cursing is allowed as long as its not directed/pointed at anyone.
But, I just thought about this reading some threads about swearing and i just got an idea.
The idea is have the same rule as those IRC servers did; allow swearing as long as it is not directed/pointed at anyone. But of course have this rule for the 13+ users.
I think this is a good idea because i see alot of 13+ users swear, and sometimes its not directed at people and i honestly dont care because no fights are being started and nobody gets thier feelings hurt. But when they do direct it at people, they get into fights and arguments, and they sometimes get thier feelings hurt. Even though i wouldent care if someone said "windowskid you are such a jackass" or something, alot of users would feel sad and get thier feelings hurt.
So, im just trying to basically benefit both sides by adding this rule. |
