Prologue:
The world is in peace again,after the defeat of Lumine.Humans and robots are once again living together in harmony,like ever before.But it won't last long as always.Malicious robots,known as Marvericks are on the loose again,after 10 years of Megaman X8 saga.X,Zero and Axl were cease to exist in this time.Destruction toll of Reploids and humans reached a lot day by day.
Human and Reploid heroes alike,came to the rescue.Although most of them are fallen,Marvericks must be exterminated once again.If not,it will be too late...In this very desparate of time,stands a group of four protagonists,leading the Marverick rebellion.
They have six months to stop the revival of an evil robot model.If too late,permanent demise will happen...That model is more powerful than Model W.
