You need to remember why they put this in in the first place though. They did it so that players would make (and sell) higher quality games.
Ever played "Guild Wars"? It is an mmo where you pay once, and then you can basically play the game forever. It is a really high quality game, and it is a high quality game because nobody wants to pay for a bad game.
The same idea lies behind this, for players to want to play games that are paid, they have to be really good, something special. This in turn leads to players making higher quality games.
You might think this is bad since you indeed need to pay for it, but as for the community of Roblox as a whole I think it is good. |
