As in real life, there is not a vote when the VP resigns.
HOWEVER, the next in line is the SECRETARY OF STATE, not logan.
So, to be approx to real life, this is fine for me.
We already had an election, this is close to how it works in real life. |

Actually, I looked it up.
When a vacancy occurs in the VP position, the Senate votes as to whether that person may take office. |

The President chooses his VP and those two vote, and I as a Federal Judge, I vote NAY. |

If the Vice President resigns, obviously someone new needs to be appointed. The President decides hand picks someone for Vice President the House of Representatives and the Senate all have to agree on this. However if the Vice President dies or anything else happens, the next in line for Vice President is The Speaker of the House of Representatives, and then the President Pro Tempore of the Senate, and after that it's the Secretary of State, the Presidential Line of Succession goes on. |
