Basically, it would be the owner's choice to allow players a 1 to 5-minute trial of their game if it it's paid access.
It would be enabled via "Configure."
When commenting on this topic, please specify whether or not you think it should be optional for paid access creators, because I can't truly decide myself :)

I disagree. And also agree.
What I diagree about:
1. The owner should not get to choose, it is a 5 minutes trial thats all.
2. IP-based. Worst idea ever. In my house we have 3 people that play roblox. What if we all want to try it out? Only one of us can. So what if we make a million alts and get 5 million minutes? After you make like 3 alts in one day roblox starts adding captchas. So yeah

How about this:
Each IP can only be used 5 times; once on each account. So each IP would supply for 5 accounts.
I agree with editing the time, though. I'm planning to make my games paid access so this would help my decision.

But if you think about it, what if you're playing a war game or something with rounds that last more then 5 mins... the IP thing is dumb, no one will make so many accounts just to play for 5 minute intervals that mess up your stats and stuff.
I agree with the 5 minute trial although it should be 3 minutes in my opinion. |

Then again, it's like being a guest; they'd have to sign up (or in this case, purchase the game) to enjoy the full experience; saved stats included.
Also, about the IP thing; if most people weren't going to make multiple accounts to play the games, then the IP limit shouldn't be a problem.
I can, however, guarantee that SOME people WILL make multiple accounts. Because of this, the IP limit will prove useful; because, after all, it's all about the user experience; saved stats and such are only a part of that.
As Tony stated, the IP rules are as followed;
~ 1 trial per account.
~ 5 trials per IP.
This should allow a fair demo for the average user and some wiggle room for a large family.
(You might've found this message pointless, but it's just a reference to future posters and more info for future refinements that people may come up with.)

That's what the trials would be for! People might see a game in Paid Access, think it's really good, use a trial, and find out it's horrible.
