Can't upload, at all. Repeatedly get the "Error: Upload failed" message Restarted studio: not fixed Tried 10 times: not fixed Restarted PC: not fixed My router is fine, my internet connection is fine, my computer itself is fine. Why must we consistently be faced with issues like this? Instead of reasoning, acknowledgement or a fix, we simply get nothing. I swear to god, the studio team and web team aren't doing their jobs. This is not a new thing, so why does it crop up every so often? I have a fair few other issues to blab about if necessary.

Surely "Error: Upload Failed. Please try publishing again." needs to be re-written, if "publishing again" simply does nothing.

This does happen sometimes to me. All you need to do is make sure your logged into studio. If you are and still wont upload, Log out and Log back in. It helps me.

Yeah, none of the solutions above helped me with this problem, either. I saved my place after I was done with it just in case, but I still want to upload. Logging out didn't help, either. How many other people are having this issue?

Computer specs, please. I'd like to know GPU, CPU, RAM, and OS.

@Z007, this has nothing to do with PC specs, I assure you.

Debatably it could have something to do with the CPU, RAM, or OS. Definitely not GPU, not sure why I said that one. How many parts does your game have?

The game also has nothing to do with it. This is purely to do with uploading a model.

I'm having the same problem, but it has to do with uploading a place. I don't think it has too many parts, I've seen other places with more parts, but it still hasn't become fixed. Also, important to note, I can upload other renditions of my place, but not this particular one. And if I make a change to the save, and try that, it still doesn't work.

If it helps any, the amount of parts I have in my place is 2529.

stroudie, it irritates me that you ask for help and then wont give us information that could be critical in determining your problem. You think computers just magically do things? No. Running an operation within and application takes CPU and RAM, even if extremely miniscule amounts. Roblox happens to eat up a ferocious amount of RAM due to how their parts load. So we DO need to know your amount of ram, and we DO need to know how many parts the models has. On to your issue- It's usually a glitch that happens when-for whatever reason-studio detect that you aren't connected to the server. One way I've found to fix this is by going to the "Build" page from the roblox website and launching into the place I'm trying to update. The same should apply for models. Launch from the website itself, save/publish(yes do both) from a place of your choosing, and ta-da, problem solved. Maybe. (less than three)

@coldblooded I just studied computing at college for two years. I know how computers work. If there is any specific information regarding the situation that is required then I would have mentioned it. The place has < 200 parts, a few GUI's, a few scripts. My PC is from 2011 with a medium-range CPU and GPU and 12 GB of RAM. This has only become an issue recently and is not place/model-specific. That is why I have not given unnecessary details.

The model itself isn't even made of parts. It's a skybox, which I KNOW can be uploaded.

I can't upload any form of model or place even if the place is just one brick, my computer is fine, and its defiantly an above average computer. It is a problem connecting to the Roblox servers to "send" them the place but its not my connection as I have tried from my computer, my laptop, and my friends computer at their house, it is not a problem with logging in either, I checked. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem, or when it will be fixed.

GOT IT! Forgot about a couple things. Try playing solo. If you look like a guest, you aren't logged in, even if it says you are. Go to the classic view and log out and log back in from there.

I use play solo for building anyway, I just liked the fact you could build as a character in studio before, but they removed that feature so I started using play solo then File>Publish This bug is so annoying I can't update anything!

Yes your router may be fine to you but if you have a cheap router (under 100 bucks) you are likely to have a slow connection or have weird problems like this. You maybe can get a new router maybe from Microsoft or something even better. I hope this helped you.

My router is an expensive Draytek Vigor 2830. I can garuntee that this problem isn't hardware-specific.

From the information I have been able to find out the problem is sending the file to the Roblox servers so it might be country specific.

@Z007, I was already logged in. I made sure. I don't see how that's relevant when uploading a model though. I've previously been logged out when using test solo, but have still been able to upload models.

I am also having this issue, from what I can tell, it has absolutely nothing to do with any of the hardware I'm using to upload places and models, but rather a problem with the Studio Application itself, as I can play solo as my character and load places from the servers just fine. all the fixes, including doing a re-install, rebooting my PC, and re-logging have ALL failed to fix the issue. This issue is also NOT country specific, as i have a few friend in the US who also have this problem and have also been unable to fix it. I do hope that the Devs are actually listening to our complaints and are trying to resolve this problem, however it would help if we were able to submit bug report to the Devs without the use of the forums.
