This is a recent issue that some other people have as well. Ever since I got my gaming computer, playing a Roblox place for about 10-30 minutes makes my computer reboot like I pulled the power cord out of it. Some people say that it's a virus. I ran a full system scan about a week ago, no viruses, just tracking cookies. Of course. Some people say that the computer could be overheating. Not true either, my computer feels like the same temperature while playing Roblox as it is when I'm not. And others say that it's my video card. I don't think so. It's a whole lot better than the one in my old computer, and my old computer never had this problem before. Here's my specs. OS: Windows 8 Professional (64 bit) Processor: AMD FX-6300 Six-Core processor - Running at 3.5 GHz Installed RAM: 16 Gigabytes Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series

Check your registry, one time I had a bunch of keyloggers my friend got me somehow and my antivirus didn't check them. Also, take out and put your battery back in while its off, that helps when my computer is glitching. Does it happen only when you play ROBLOX?

@ROBLOXINANUTSHELL Yes, it only happens when I play Roblox. Also, I'm using a PC, not a laptop. :/

1) Have you checked the 'Reliability Monitor'? It could shed some information on the issue. 2) Does it simply restart, without any form of error message? 3) Could it be an issue with your processor, in terms of the current BIOS version? For example, my CPU would cause a BSOD error when trying to play some games due to an issue on the current BIOS at the time.

@Desperian 1 - I just checked it. There are 3 critical events. "Windows was not properly shut down" (The reboot that Roblox caused) and "Microsoft DirectX Diagnostic Tool Stopped working" The third one was the DirectX one again. These pop up when I close down the tool, apparently. 2 - No error message. I play for a while, the screen cuts to black, computer's off like, as I said, if I pulled the power cord. 3 - My Bios information: Date: 11/14/12 - Version: 04.06.05 (I found these with that DirectX Diagnostic tool thing)

I may sound geekish here, but does your CPU beep before restarting, or groan like a frog. If it does, it may be a main board failure, or RAM overload. If it ALSO beeps when restarting, then it's confirmed. Here are the beeps and their problems: 1 beep- Normal 2-3 beeps- RAM overload 4 beeps- RAM overload, CPU overheat prevention, main board/ motherboard failure 5 and above- CPU is unlikely to start because of complete system failure, or virus payload. LONG beeps- overheat. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go Google 'Why does my CPU beep on restart' or 'Why does my CPU restart on its own'. Cheers, ~Micro

My computer doesn't beep... I just restarts. Not sure about groaning, though. I usually have my headphones on while using my computer. I'll go into a place and wait without my headphones on. I'll report my findings tomorrow, or just before midnight (EST) if I'm lucky.

I had the same problem on Windows 8 too. But I disabled anti virus and it all got fixed. I am using NORTON Antivirus.

g'mornin to those who are living in the EST time zone. I don't hear anything. No croaks, no beeps, nothing when it restarts. :/

Mine, im on a laptop, it just shuts down, not restart like if i go in start button. Its only roblox when this happens. I dont thing roblox is a virus. Maybe it is something you downloaded after u had roblox. If you did not download anything after u downloaded roblox, it may be you computer trying to fight back at roblox because it might have a virus, i dont think it does though. It happens to me alot, so i went away from roblox for about 5 days and when i came back it was more that 10-30 minutes of play. Norton says that if u play roblox to long that your computer may shut down. But that started right ater i downloaded something from steam, it had nothing to do with roblox, I dont know why it effected it. Maybe what i downloaded was a virus. I hope i helped.
