building without bc

Ive tried building using edit and build but its not working... i know its possible to build without BC because my 2 cousins are able to build because they have windows 7

Talk about being vague. HOW does it not work? Simply stating it doesn't work, could imply a whole range of scenarios where something doesn't work.

right fine then when i open it up in edit or build it comes up with a sky, i can see my character or any land, please help me out
