First Western National services review 13/08/13
ENVIRO 400 DELIVERYS
I am pleased to announce that First Western National has today ordered 100 C-framed Enviro 400’s! This is the biggest bus order which has been made by the company in its history. The deal has been sealed and all of these buses will be delivered in the next 30 days. This is a huge investment to our services and our customers. However, many of them will be in service beyond Cornwall which opens up new doors and opportunities to us. So, where are these buses going?
First Western National 10%
Travel North Avon 40%
Love Buses 40%
First Bus Scotrail 10%
These buses are the most environmentally friendly buses known to Roblox which meet all current Euro emissions, with low floor easy access (as standard!) and with plenty leg space which all passengers will love. With a maximum seating capacity of 56 and 8 standing, all will be limited at 65MPH. As we continue to update the fleet, more orders for new buses are expected within the next month along with exciting new services to commence latter this year.
OPERATIONS
Eastern Counties services will be reviewed in September. All services will resume as current.
First Western National will be starting a new service between Truro and Helston on a 45 minute service. We are also starting various ‘rural village’ services which will operate on alternate days which will be announced later this month.
First Bus Scotrail will continue as current
Travel North Avon will be gaining 5 new bus routes in September
Love Buses is currently in a ‘set up stage’. Further information will be published at a latter date
Travel North Avon
Since a First Western National buy out on the 11/06/12, Travel North Avon has kept its name and livery. However, a new livery has been introduced which will see a company face lift in a bid to gain new members and customers. Currently repainted are Enviro 300 16/17/18/19 and heritage bus. Also, a change in name is being considered as part of a ‘nationalization’ plan. ‘First Western National in Avon’ is what is being considered but has not yet been implemented.
